BOTOX is one of the most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedures available today. BOTOX is used to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles on forehead, between the brows, and for crow’s feet. The neuromodulator in BOTOX can make you look years younger than you are – and men love it.
How BOTOX Works
BOTOX is the name used for botulinum toxin, which inhibits the action of muscles into which it is injected. These muscles then stay in a relaxed state, which prevents the skin above them from wrinkling when you are talking or making facial expressions. BOTOX should only be injected by a highly skilled medical professional, so the results appear natural and you are not left with a “frozen” look. The professionals at University Plastic Surgeons have the knowledge and skills to help men look younger, refreshed, and rejuvenated in the most natural way..

BOTOX Treatment
The BOTOX treatment is simple and easy, requiring only about ten to twenty minutes depending on which areas you are having treated. The number of units of BOTOX to be used, and the precise areas of injection, are critical points in achieving an excellent result. The goal is always to leave you looking fresh without looking as if you have undergone treatment.

Recovery Time
You can expect to continue with your day as usual directly after treatment. You should make sure to avoid direct sun exposure and strenuous activity, as these could lead to sweating or cause increased circulation that could limit results. You may also see some bruising around the injection sites, although this should subside rapidly.

When will I see results?
You can expect to see the results developing about three to four days after treatment with full results occurring after about seven to ten days.
How long do the results last?
The results can last for three months or longer, before re-treatment is needed. Once you have tried BOTOX, you will get a feel for when it is best for you to receive additional treatments. If you are receiving BOTOX for an upcoming event, make sure that your treatment is at least two weeks prior to the event so the results are in full effect.
How often should I receive BOTOX?
If you would like to maintain your results, you can schedule additional treatments at the right intervals. You should not undergo another treatment until at least three months have passed. This is to prevent any resistance to the botulinum toxin. Many men who have regular treatments find that they can schedule their appointments every four to six months and maintain great results.
Are there any risks associated with BOTOX?
Risks associated with BOTOX are quite minimal when you are receiving treatments from certified professionals. Risks may include bruising, swelling, or bleeding at the injection sites, or headaches and flu-like symptoms.
